Langtang Trek 10N11D is about traveling to a beautiful valley dominant by the vibrant forests of pine and lush greeneries and hills, mountain and its stream, and serene settlements, lying at the proximity of Kathmandu city towards the north at around 30km away, is Langtang. The altitude of the region varies from less than 2000m to 5000m and it under the stunning mountainous range of Langtang Lirung (7227m). Thus, this valley enriched with these natural gifts has a spectacular showground to showoff amongst the travelers. Langtang is the dominant Sherpas and Tamangs region and is conserved by the Langtang National Park.

Visit to Langtang is quite quick and easy with a half-day drive from Kathmandu, apart from the road condition. The Langtang trek either starts from Dhunche (2030m), which is around 8 hours of driving distance from Kathmandu, or from Syabru Besi (2380m), a bit further north from Dhunche at a higher elevation. However, the earlier one is preferred most keeping the later one on return for pickup. In this trek, the trail from Dhunche takes us through the green forests, towns and settlements, alongside the Langtang Khola (river) with few days’ night halts en route. The trail takes us all the way up to Kyangjin Gompa at 3830m. From where a further short trek towards Kyangjin Ri at 4773m offers a breathtaking vista of Langtang Lirung and other snowy mountains like Langtang Ri, Ganjala peak, etc. A further walk ascending towards the northeast takes us to Tserko Ri at 4985m. Another vantage point of the region offering a charismatic view of the nature of the Langtang Region. However, this will require another additional day to reach Tserko Ri from Kyangjin and we can arrange that during the time of itinerary planning. The return trail is via the same route but layovers will be at different locations. After arriving at Thulo Syabru (2210m), we will track to Syabru Besi from where we will be picked up by our vehicle the next day for a return trip to Kathmandu.

Trekking to Langtang in itself is one of the most exciting trips in Nepal. Nonetheless, a walk through the National Park densely populated wildlife and the home of endangered species like red pandas; off beaten tranquil trail into nature without hordes of travelers like in other popular treks; spend nights with solar-powered hot shower amenity in the guesthouses of welcoming villages where travelers are cared as family members by the inhabitants; enjoy the stunning view of the snowy mountains since arrival and throughout the trek; everything and every day this trip is certain to entice the travelers divulging its awesomeness that has been hidden behind those northern hills. Worth doing it!!

Langtang Trek welcomes all the travelers, either adventure trekkers or normal tourist travelers who are short of their stay in Nepal, offering one the most beautiful and unique experiences of a lifetime in such a wonderful trip.

This Langtang trek is based on a combination of drive and trek. This trip can always be customized according to the requirements with the addition of the trip days if needed and also altering the route towards Gosaikunda Lake- one of the holiest high-altitude lakes in Nepal at the stunning picturesque location. This trek also starts off from Dhunche but the route stretches towards Sing Gompa (2500m) to the east to reach Gosaikunda Lake (4320m), which takes 9 days for the overall trip.
